Pici is a very cosy restaurant situated in Zurenborg, Antwerp where you can eat different types of overly delicious, freshly-made pastas. I went there, together with my boyfriend to celebrate our anniversary.
The interior of the restaurant is very simple and modern, so not what we normally expect from a typical Italian restaurant, but the ambiance is still very nice and cosy. The restaurant has an open kitchen which makes it fun to ocassionaly watch the chefs doing their work.
We started our evening with a tasty aperitif; Bellini & Negroni (ā¬8,5), the Bellini was very delicious and self-made which made it even more fun to drink it. We chose a small starter to share between the both of us, namely the "Bruschette con Funghi e Burrata" (ā¬9,5). This starter was phenomenal, the combination of the mushrooms with the burrata was delicious, I really recommend this one a lot.
For our main dish we went for the Ravioli filled with Ricotta and Spinach with a butter-sage sauce (ā¬18) and the Caserecce with minced veal and wild mushrooms (ā¬17). Both dishes were again over the top, a "culinary orgasm" as one might say. The meals are very good in size and quite enough to fill your belly, still, my boyfriend went for a hearty desert ; chocolade cake (ā¬7), which he ate with a lot of enjoyment.
Our experience at Pici was perfect! We will definitely return in the future and I really recommend everyone to do so as well, this restaurant definitely belongs to my top 3.
A bientƓt!
