Quality steak at “De Tafelaer”

De Tafelaer, situated in Kuringen, is a meat restaurant where you can eat different types of meat but also salades and some fish dishes. They also have a realy fun bar called the "Tafelbar", next to the restaurant, where you can drink something before and/or after your visit. The restaurant is really well decorated, I love the interior and the workers are super friendly and professional. I usually come here at special occasions as the prices are a bit high (which is normal if you want good quality meat).

During my last visit, I ordered a Filet Pur with Bearnaise sauce and some croquettes (€29), the rest of my company ordered:

- Tagliata di Manzo with pasta tartufo (€41,50) - No picture

- Thai Beef Salade (€20)

- Asperges à La Flamande (€23)

Every meal was of top quality and we all enjoyed our dish very much. The meat at "De Tafelaer" is always superb, which is also what you expect when eating in a meat restaurant, but the other dishes are equally as good. As I already mentioned in the beginning, the service at "De Tafelaer" is always perfect and the workers know all the in and outs of their job, which is a big plus for me. I really recommend this restaurant to all meat lovers; great quality meat in a cozy atmosphere, what is there not to like?
