Botanique: Knokke-Heist

Botanique is a very cosy restaurant with very cute interior design elements and friendly staff, situated at the beginning of the shopping street (Kustlaan) in Knokke-Heist. You can grab some luch or dinner and they offer salades, meat dishes and fish dishes on their menu.

I visited Botanique together with my mom and dad for dinner. Mom and I, both ordered Tomate Crevette with fries (€28) and my dad took a 2-course menu (€38) which allowed him to choose from 3 types of starters and main dishes. As a starter, my dad chose for a Toast Mushroom and for his main dish he ordered the sole with fries. After his 2 meals he also got some coffee that was included in the price of the menu.

We all enjoyed our food and the fries were delicious as well. The meals were big enough in size and the presentation was nicely done too. The staff at Botanique is very friendly, as I already mentioned before, and they can all perfectly multilingual, which definitely is a plus in Knokke with the big amount of tourists. The only drawback of this restaurant is that they failed to offer me a vegetarian meal even though it is stated on Google that they are able to do so. They only had one vegetarian option which I did not like so I had to choose a dish with fish in it.
