Discovering the culinary scene of Brussels has been a very fun adventure so far. Together with my fellow intern I have been trying out different foods in the area of our office, through take-out (You can see those in my highlight on Instagram). But now that the restaurants have opened again in Belgium we are able to really enjoy the full experience.
After going for some drinks at Jardin Rooftop and Mappa Mundo we headed over to Nona, a trendy place in the heart of Brussels. In the same street (Rue Sainte-Catherine) you have Nona Pasta and Nona Pizza, both equally as cute on the inside and fun to eat at. I went together with 2 friends of mine to try out Nona Pasta.

You have 5 different pastas to choose from. Some of them are classics, others are a bit more special, so definitely something for everyone. They even have some vegan and vegetarian options, which I think is great. The only thing that is still missing are some gluten-free options.
Our order consisted of the following pastas:
- Pesto di Spinaci (โฌ12,40)
- Amatriciana (โฌ13,90)
- Ragu Bolognese (โฌ14,90)
All pastas were very good and I really liked mine (Spinaci) in particular because it wasn't an ordinary pasta pesto. The portions were pretty small in my opinion, especially because the pastas weren't very heavy, but on the other hand I think it is also fair compared to the price.
We had a fun time at Nona, our waiter was really friendly and funny, so I will definitely go back in the future to have some more pasta. You can never have enough pasta in my opinion.
Nona, a presto!
Baci (Bisous)
