I recently started doing an internship in the city center of Brussels as a marketeer, and as all restaurants have been closed I wasn't able to check out the best lunch/dinner spots yet. I did a few take aways in the neighbourhood of our office, which you can check out in my Instagram highlight, but now we are finally able to propely sit down and enjoy all the good food.
First stop; Yummy Bowl. A very cute and little restaurant situated close to the Grand Place in Brussels. We were welcomed by this lovely girl, which I assume is one of the owners, who was glad to answer all our questions about the restaurant and its food.
At yummy bowl, you can eat numerous bowls (as the name of the restaurant already tells you) which are all vegan and they even have some vegan and gluten free options. I went for the Street Bowl, which had some vermicelle rice in it, salad, cucumbre, vegan chicken, cashews, and other veggies, together with vegan Nuoc Mam sauce. And my colleague went for the Sunny bowl, which included some noodles, salade, avocado spring rolls, grilled corn, cucumber and other delicious things, topped off with peanut sauce.
You can choose to either order a medium (ā¬12,50) or a large bowl (ā¬14,50) and the prices are fixed for all bowls. I absolutely loved my bowl, it was very fresh but still felt like a proper meal and was definitely enough to fill my tummy, the rest of my company was equally as satisfied. I will, for sure, go back to yummy bowl to try out all the other bowls (all 8 of them to be exact).
